Stephill GE2500 2.5 kVA Petrol Generator

The Stephill GE2500 is a 2.5 kVA petrol generator from Stephill's GE range.

This is entry-level professional power: enough for a hand tool and task lighting, a small welfare unit, or standby for a handful of circuits. Stephill's UK manufacturing and parts support is the practical argument for it over an unbranded set at a similar rating.

2.5 kVA goes quickly once motors are involved, since an induction motor draws several times its running current while it accelerates. If anything on your load contains one, size against that surge rather than the nameplate — our sizing guide explains how.
