Madden 8.5kW Generator Recoil & Electric Start | MAGE10000

The Madden MAGE10000 is an 8.5 kW petrol generator offering both recoil and electric start.

At 8.5 kW this is a substantial single-phase set — enough for a small workshop, a welfare compound, or backup for a property rather than a single tool. Having both starting methods is genuinely useful at this size, because the battery is the most likely thing to fail on a machine that sits unused between jobs, and recoil gives you a way to start it anyway.

Check the whole load schedule before committing to this rating: 8.5 kW sounds generous until several motor loads start together. Our sizing guide covers sequencing large motors so they never start simultaneously, which can drop the required rating by a whole size band.
