60 Hz equipment — UK mains is 50 Hz

This unit is configured for 60 Hz operation; UK mains runs at 50 Hz. Heating elements and other resistive loads are largely indifferent to frequency, but motors run around 20% slower on 50 Hz and timer or control circuits can be affected. Tell us the application and we will confirm suitability before you order.

Supplied to trade buyers only. Because this item is not UK supply specification, we supply it to businesses specifying it for a known application rather than to consumers. Tell us the installation and we will confirm what you need before you order.

A Multiquip DCA-45USI2 portable generator set rated at 36 kW.

The DCA range is designed for rental and construction work — towable, enclosed and built for frequent relocation and quick servicing. At 36 kW this suits site power, events, welfare facilities and temporary commercial supply.

Confirm output voltage and frequency before ordering: Multiquip DCA sets are predominantly US-market machines running at 60 Hz, which is not directly compatible with a UK 50 Hz mains supply.

This is a specific used unit rather than a catalogue build. Engine hours, test records and current condition are confirmed on enquiry, and inspection can be arranged. Price excludes VAT and delivery.

Specifications are provided for comparison only and may be based on engineering calculations rather than physical measurements. They are subject to change without notice and vary with design, manufacturing and operating conditions. Confirm exact specifications with us before ordering.
