60 Hz equipment — UK mains is 50 Hz

This unit is configured for 60 Hz operation; UK mains runs at 50 Hz. Heating elements and other resistive loads are largely indifferent to frequency, but motors run around 20% slower on 50 Hz and timer or control circuits can be affected. A compact towable set for small site power, events, outside broadcast and temporary supply. At 20 kW this covers tools, lighting, welfare units and small workshop loads rather than heavy three-phase machinery.

Tier 4 Final emissions means fewer restrictions on where the set may legally operate, including urban sites and low-emission zones.

Confirm output voltage and frequency before ordering: much of this stock is US-sourced at 60 Hz, which is not directly compatible with a UK 50 Hz mains supply.
