Carbide teeth rather than steel is the specification that matters for working life. Stump grinding routinely meets grit and stones in the root plate, and carbide survives that where steel teeth dull within a job or two.

Cutting below ground level is what allows the site to be replanted or built over rather than merely tidied. At 6.7 in this clears most domestic and amenity work.

Note the flow requirement is high — 18 gal/min at minimum. This is a high-flow attachment and will not perform on a standard-flow machine.
