220 V equipment — generally workable in the UK

This unit is specified at 220 V, against UK mains of 230 V. That difference is within the tolerance of most equipment. Where the specification also shows 60 Hz, motors and timer circuits may behave differently on a 50 Hz supply — ask us if the application is sensitive to either.

Model PS2432S: a 24 x 32 in (60 x 80 cm) industrial pneumatic single-station heat press with slide-out worktable, LCD touchscreen and AIRTAC pneumatic components. 6000 W / 8 HP, 32–750°F (0–399°C), 85 psi minimum, 10–15 minutes to heat.

The slide-out worktable is the practical difference here: loading happens away from the heated platen rather than underneath it, which is both safer and faster on repeat work.

AIRTAC pneumatics are a recognised component brand, which matters on a machine where the pressure system is the part that determines consistency and is the most likely thing to need parts.

Single station suits shorter runs and varied work; our dual-platen PUD2432 is the better choice for sustained production.

Supply note: specified at 220 V, 60 Hz single phase. UK mains is 230 V at 50 Hz. The voltage is close enough to be workable, but the frequency is not the same, and 60 Hz equipment with motors or timer circuits can behave differently on a 50 Hz supply.
